In the haze and flurry of the SoCap conference, I missed posting a number of really interesting articles:

The Strengths and Weaknesses of 'Philanthrocapitalism' by Phil Buchanon
The president of the Center for Effective Philanthropy shares his critique of 'Philanthrocapitalism' by Matthew Bishop and Michael Green, as well as the pre-emptive rebuttal "Just Another Emperor?" by Michael Edwards. I'll be writing a similar post in a few weeks. (hat tip: Sean Stannard-Stockton)
Social Capital Index
Not a blog post, but the Social Capital Index is a new project (a spin off from Good Capital, actually) to keep track of the deals in the social enterprise and investment space. I met Jason Rissman, one of the entrepreneurs developing the tool, at SoCap and think the project has a ton of potential.
HBS Centennial: Social Entrepreneurship In Education
At another conference I didn't have the chance to go to, there was what sounds like an interesting and important panel on social entrepreneurship in education, with some of the field leaders like Teach for America's Wendy Kopp. Posted by Dave at ParanoidBull
