A Decade on the Streets

by Mark Horvath · 2010-08-29 11:00:00 UTC

This new video comes from Mark's InvisiblePeople.tv 30-city, 11,000-mile, 75-day road trip, going on now. Mark has been producing videos faster than we can post them, so we're devoting the blog to InvisiblePeople.tv all day today.

The eyes say it all.

I can literally feel Dennis's pain. He moved to New Orleans when he got out of prison. All of his relatives are dead so Dennis has lived on the streets homeless for 10 years now.

Dennis says he's making the best out of a bad situation, but acknowledges that things aren't going well and he might try to move on soon.

No one should live on the streets homeless. We can do better than this. We must do better!

Mark Horvath is an activist for the homeless. He vlogs at invisiblepeople.tv and blogs at hardlynormal.com. He was formerly homeless in Hollywood.
