Accelerating Social Entrepreneurship Conference 2009 Next Monday

The Phoenix Project and Corporation for National and Community Service have teamed up to put together this year's Accelerating Social Entrepreneurship Conference: How Technology is Knocking Down Doors and Fueling Innovation. The conference is happening next Monday in DC.

I'm excited to say that I'll be speaking on the closing panel, "Knock, Knock. Who's There? What New Technologies are waiting to bang down the door?" Hopefully I'll have a chance to take some of the conversations we've been having about scale, diffusion, and disruptive innovation offline.

There are lots of other great conversations happening, with sessions about everything from using technology to increase and expand awareness of the field to government partnerships with social entrepreneurs. Some of the other all-stars in attendance include Daniel Ben-Horin, Founder and CEO of TechSoup, Bob Ottenhoff, President and CEO of Guidestar, and Andrew Wolk, Founder and CEO of RootCause.
