Lifted from the Cheasapeake Climate Action Network. Wendell Berry has been a major muse of the agrarian movement for many decades, I'm really looking forward to hearing what he has to say.

Artists for the Climate: A Night with Wendell Berry, Bill McKibben and Gus Speth

One of the giants of environmental literature, Wendell Berry — along with writers Bill McKibben and Gus Speth — will be at Lisner Auditorium in Washington DC for a night of discussion, poetry and inspiration. Just one day before the historic mass civil disobedience, these noted artists will be rallying the cry for strong action on climate change. They will be joined by noted authors and activists Terry Tempest Williams and Janisse Ray, as well as Rev. Lennox Yearwood of the Hip Hop Caucus and country music singer Kathy Mattea.

Our live event starts Sunday, March 1st at 6:30pm. If you miss it there’s no need to worry! A full recording of the show will be posted at the CCAN blog immediately after it’s all over available to be viewed by anyone at any time.
