BAD Blogger Update

In just a few short days, Change.org is hosting the third annual Blog Action Day. It's a chance each year for bloggers from around the world to come together and dedicate themselves (not to mention their audiences) to raising awareness of and promoting solutions for a particular cause of social concern. This year, we'll be focusing on Climate Change.

We decided to focus on climate change because of just how dramatically it effects not only all other social issues we care about, but everyone on this planet. Climate change is predicted to be the cause of resource shortages that create conflict, famine, accelerate disease, threaten political justice, and more. This sort of causal chain implicates us all.

Blog Action Day is all about the notion that everyone has to pitch in to solve the problems we face. We've got almost 6,000 bloggers signed up already, reaching a total audience of more than 10,000,000. By joining, you'll help add momentum to this important event and help us turn the tide on climate change. To sign up, go to the Blog Action Day website.
