Of course there is a site like this out there on the internets, but it was just now that I found out about it. It's called Bake It Forward and the idea behind it is spreading the word of Fair Trade chocolate through baked goods. Right up my alley.

The site doesn't have a lot to it, but the idea is pretty straight forward. Basically, you go out and buy Fair Trade chocolate and use it to bake some delicious goodies. Share those goodies with family, friends, co-workers or even strangers and with each treat you give out, attach a postcard with information about Fair Trade chocolate. They have postcards available for download here and here, however feel free to make your own postcards to attach with a personalized message and your own information about Fair Trade. Also, you are not limited to just using Fair Trade chocolate. There are so many more ingredients out there available.

I know it sounds like a simple concept, but it can be very effective to spread the message and it shows the extra love and care you put into the treat you're sharing. Now, whisk away.
