As you can see, Change.org is up and running again. It's back with a vengeance, a facelift and a boatload of new friends with some interesting things to say. You've happened to sail on over to the Fair Trade blog so hop on board and I will help you navigate around, but not before I promise to stop with the nautical puns.

You're here because you're interested in economic justice. You're here because you believe there is an alternative way of conducting trade that does not exploit its producers. You're here because you believe in environmental sustainability. You're here because you want to know more about the products that you buy. You're here because you believe in equality. You're here because you love coffee. You're here because of Fair Trade. And its for all those reasons that I am here too.

This blog will serve to introduce you to the concept of Fair Trade, attempt to answer any burning questions, start discussions, reflect on the movement, highlight the different people in the Fair Trade world and bring together a community interested in making a difference....a change if you will.

So, welcome to the Fair Trade blog. Let's take this community and run with it . . . or, sail with it?
