Breaking News: Rwanda arrests Congo rebel leader Laurent Nkunda

In an astonishing about-face, Rwandan troops arrested former ally Laurent Nkunda, leader of a key rebel group militias that fled Rwanda to the DRC after the Rwandan Genocide in 1994.

According to AP, in what is likely now my favorite line from a straight news article:

"But analysts say Rwanda and Nkunda's own commanders had grown irritated by the rebel leader, viewing him as a flippant, authoritarian megalomaniac who allegedly embezzled money from rebel coffers."

Really, what effective violent rebel isn't a "flippant, authoritarian megalomaniac?"
