Can You Help the Animals of Maple Farm Sanctuary?

I've heard nothing but lovely things over the last couple years about Maple Farm Sanctuary in Massachusetts and its founders, Cheri and Jim, former dairy goat farmers (and before that, dairy cow farmers). Their story is a touching one of humans' capacity for change and compassion, and I recommend you read Cheri's account of her journey.
But as regular Animal Person readers learned today, the sanctuary could use some help from those who can offer it. Animal advocate and filmmaker Jenny Stein explained via a note relayed by Mary Martin, "They currently care for about 80 animals, almost half of whom are special needs cases who require extra time, attention and medical care," and "right now is a particularly hard time for them, as the sanctuary is short on funds to keep its animals in food and bedding until the summer months, when their crop of hay generates some income."
Please see the post "Maple Farm Sanctuary Needs Your Help!" at Animal Person for the rest of the message detailing the sanctuary's situation, as well as for the story of one of the animals the sanctuary has cared for. For additional animals' stories, see the relevant section at Maple Farm Sanctuary's own Web site. And if you are able to donate, even a small amount, to help the sanctuary during this difficult time, please do so here.
