Christina Carr to Guest Blog for Change.org

by Jen Nedeau · 2009-03-03 09:03:00 UTC

I'm very excited to announce the addition of another guest blogger here on the Women's Rights blog - Christina Carr

Christina graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of the Arts in English Literature. She is currently a 2L student at the University of Miami School of Law. She's a political junkie and sports enthusiast, and will personally take down anybody who puts down the Philadelphia Eagles. Christina is actively involved with the Miami-Dade Young Democrats, and is especially interested in Women's Rights, LGBT, and healthcare issues. You can find her on Twitter @christiecarr.

Christina will be writing about women's sports - covering everything from sports policy to action on the playing field. Sports coverage of women is notoriously underreported which is why I thought it would be a great idea to have consistent coverage of recent news and information about female athletes and how women are treated in the sports arena.

Stay tuned for blog posts coming from Christina. I know she's going to hit it out of the park.
