Civil Disobedience at Sacramento Tent City

Contrary to mainstream media reports, Sacramento's tent city is not vacant. Homeless advocates, led by Sister Libby Frenandez of Loaves and Fishes, are protesting Mayor Kevin Johnson's handling of this week's tent city evictions

Sister Frenandez and the other advocates plan to stand in solidarity with about 50 remaining homeless guests until they are arrested for civil disobedience. Here is more about the peaceful protest from Sister Frenandez, in a video captured today by Sacramento Loaves and Fishes:
