The commenter of the week is Phi Pham, for an entirely reasonable question about US government preference in hiring former Peace Corps volunteers on the when not to go to grad school post. It was chosen because it's always nice to know someone is reading the career posts, and because it was the only comment this week not about Michael Jackson.  And calling yourself a dedicated reader never hurts!

Here's the comment:

I recently heard from someone that you should try to line up to go to grad school directly after Peace Corps so that the Peace Corps non-competitive hiring eligibility freezes during the time you're in school so that it is eligible right when you get out of grad school. Is this a good idea?

Thank you,

Dedicated Reader

Phi, please contact Mariam to chose your charity donation.
