Contest: Post your idea, win a copy of "How to Change the World"

by Nathaniel Whittemore · 2008-11-25 04:58:00 UTC

As we wrote in our Top Ten Reads for Social Entrepreneurship, David Bornstein's "How to Change the World: Social Entrepreneurs and the Power of New Ideas" is arguably the most important book in the young history of the social entrepreneurship movement. Its stories of social innovators have inspired a new wave of social innovation that's changing the way we think about change.

Anyone who posts an idea on the IDEAS FOR CHANGE IN AMERICA site today and then leaves a comment on this post linking to that idea and relating it to Social Entrepreneurship will be automatically entered to win a copy of "How to Change the World."

At 9am tomorrow I'll see who all has posted and select one at random. For those of you who've already posted an idea, get 3 new people (you're on the honor system) to vote for it today and then leave a message here writing about how it relates to social entrepreneurship. In addition to giving away a book, I'll write about some of the most interesting ideas.

Happy thinking!
