Egg a Politician
The Group of 20 of G20, is made up of finance ministers of several countries -- both industrial and emerging economies-- to discuss issues dealing with global economic stability. The hope is to strengthen international financial architecture and provide opportunities for dialogue on national policies, international co-operation, and international financial institutions and helps to support growth and development across the globe.
This year, the G20 Summit us taking place in London April 2nd and the global financial crisis will undoubtedly be the crucial topic of discussion. Fair Trade organizations are determined to keep Fair Trade on the G20 agenda. Divine Chocolate has devised a fun way for consumers to get involved and encourage the top world leaders to keep Fair Trade issues on their radar during the summit with Egg a Politician.
The idea is to throw a chocolate egg to one of the five leaders of the summit -- Barack Obama, Nicolas Sarkozy, Gordon Brown, Manmohm Singh and Wen Jiabao. With each egg throw, players are prompted to send an email to the selected egg recipient to remind the members to not let trade slip off the agenda and keep up the momentum to ensure fairer trade opportunities for Africa and other developing countries.
Go ahead and get your egg toss on and see to it that trade is kept on the G20 agenda.
