Investor’s Circle Fall Conference and Venture Fair – November 10-12, Boston, MA
Investor’s Circle holds their annual fall conference that includes public workshops, plenary sessions and keynotes, as well as the “Venture Fair” through which accredited investors can hear pitches from 20 emerging social enterprises working in areas including education, energy and health.

The 5th Annual Conference of Social Entrepreneurs: Measuring Social Impact
– November 7, NYU Stern’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies
What’s looking like a great one day event includes presentations from really interesting folks like the Acumen Fund’s Rob Katz, Andrew Kassoy from B-Lab Corporation and with a keynote from Jason Saul, founder of Mission Management

Tactical Philanthropy Forum
– San Francisco, CA
Not focused on social entrepreneurship, per se, the first ever Tactical Philanthropy Forum will feature Hewlitt Foundation president Paul Brest, who's just published “Money Well Spent: A Strategic Guide to Smart Philanthropy.” As we’ve discussed before, “engaged” or “effective” philanthropy is an important part of the funding continuum for social entrepreneurs and this should be a great event.
