Fair Cake

Yesterday, I mentioned National Cupcake Day. During my research for cupcake photos, I came across this company called "Fair Cake" that is a socially conscious cupcake making company. They use nothing but Free Range eggs, Fair Trade chocolate, cocoa, coffee and butter in their cupcakes. They also are sure to use recycled materials and locally sourced ingredients as much as possible.

I think it's such a great idea that a business is able to incorporate their values into their everyday operations by using Fair Trade. It proves that there is a demand out there for Fair Trade businesses and that there is a socially conscious way of doing business.

Unfortunately, this business is based out of London, so surely they won't be delivering to me anytime soon. First, London becomes the Fair Trade capital of the world, now they house a Fair Trade cupcake making business. We need to find something like this in the United States. It must exist, right? Anyone have any leads? Anyone want to start one?
