I recently bought myself a French Coffee Press and it might be one of the best purchases that I have made of late. Coupled with the President's Coffee Blend, my mornings are set. Oh, sweet coffee. There's so much to you.

The movie, Black Gold sets to expose the flaws of multinational coffee companies and their site lets you calculate where your money goes when you get your coffee from said coffee companies. You can even see the amount spent daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. Note: prices are listed in English pounds, so that means the figures are even more (for me). yowza.

The folks over at Just Coffee have an even more interesting chart of where the money spent on a bag of their Fair Trade coffee goes. Quite the opposite, eh?

Where does your money go? Where do you want it to go? Everyone is making more careful decisions in their purchasing these days. As Black Gold points out, do you want your cash going to the multi-national companies, or should more go back to the people? Your choice.
