The whole point of this blog is to add to the conversation about global health. Offer some background to people new to the topic, and something new and interesting for people already involved with it. I want this to be an accessible, entertaining resource to learn about and discuss some major issues we're facing as a planet.

How am I doing? What can I do better? So far, I've written five major types of posts on this blog: briefings on various global health issues, commentary on global health news, link round-ups, personal opinions and rants, and career posts. I know that the job posts are popular. But what about everything else? What would you like to see on this blog?

I've actually been pretty light on global health news. I feel like that gets a lot of coverage and analysis at some very excellent sites: the CGD Global Health Policy Blog, Karen Grepin's blog, and the Global Health Report blog. I am not sure what I can add to what is already going on. The blog has focused mostly on issue briefings and link round-ups. I got a lot of requests for more information on jobs, so I now have career posts every Wednesday.

What would you like to see more of here? I write a lot. I've got plenty of time to cover everything I feel passionate about and still be as useful as possible to readers. Comment, please! Or send a private message if you feel uncomfortable with comments.

And, yes, feel free to tell me to stop using Little Shop of Horrors misquotes as my post titles.
