Friday Afternoon; It's Time for Gillian Welch

by Michael Bear · 2009-07-24 18:03:00 UTC

Shamelessly stealing an idea from Mo'dernity, Mo'problems - namely, a little music on a Friday afternoon.   Imitation being, of course, the most sincere form of flattery.

Besides, as much as I'd love to write about various depressing tropes every day, am slowly coming to realize that a little change of pace now and then isn't the worst thing in the world

So, Gillian Welch singing Look at Miss Ohio.  A song which includes one of my favorite lines: I want to do right, but not right now.

Have a great weekend.

PS - will be traveling for the next few weeks, so blogging will be a little hit or miss
