Yes, included in this roundup are desserts--plural--with beans as ingredients. And dear god, they look delicious. Even if the idea of beans in a dessert strikes you as odd initially, reading about these treats and seeing the photos will win you over.

Flourless Chocolate Cake and Raspberry Sorbet from madcap cupcake (pictured above). Adzuki beans (or black-eyed peas according to the original recipe) make an appearance in, and apparently a wonderful contribution to, the delectable cake in this pairing.

Daifuku from VeganYumYum. Gorgeous, yummy dessert #2 featuring, yes, beans. You must go read more and look at the photos. I love it when food is adorable.

Yellow Beet Ravioli, Cole Slaw, and Celery Root and Green Apple Soup for Raw Food Wednesday over at what the hell does a vegan eat anyway? I need to eat more raw meals myself, and I am forever impressed by the raw creations (and recipe-following successes) that folks share in the blogosphere.

Southern-Style Greens from Vegan Dad, who reports, "[This is] by far the tastiest method of serving greens I have come across yet. And the kids like them! I used swiss chard because it cooks quickly, but you could use kale or collards as well."
