Meanwhile, the parents of Amanda Knox have maxed out their credit cards to defend her against charges she killed Meredith Kercher in Italy. Knox claims innocence.

Rhode Island broke new ground this week in the medical marijuana movement, becoming the third state with official dispensaries.
