by Michael Jones · 2008-11-15 19:06:00 UTC

Gary Daffin, the Executive Director of the Multicultural AIDS Coalition here in Boston, spoke at today's "Join the Impact" rally. His comments reflected the fact that as an African American, he felt a great deal of relief after November 4, with the election of Barack Obama. But as an LGBT rights supporter, Daffin said that the struggle must continue for gay rights, until all LGBT persons can wake up and feel at home in their own country.
