Help Educate Girls in Rwanda

Education. Honestly - if you just think about it for one second, learning is truly the key to opportunity. From my French lessons, to algebra, biology labs, and then studying literature in Chile - I would not be the person I am without all those who have taught me and without all those heavy textbooks, desks and school supplies I used to learn.

That is why I am asking my readers for a special request today: help educate girls in Rwanda by donating to Project Akilah.

We already know that when we educate girls, they are likely to help educate others. This is a means to create a more peaceful and prosperous society. In a country like Rwanda, this is essential.

If you donate to Project Akilah between now and Tuesday, March 31st, they will be eligible to win $10,000 if they have the most supporters on Razoo. The current leader has 230 supporters, so the $10,000 is definitely within their reach!

I just donated $20 for classroom supplies. I would never be the writer I am today without the basic use of a pen and paper.

Can you do the same?

Visit Project Akilah's page on Razoo.com and make a donation of $10 or more. (All donations benefit the Akilah institute in Rwanda).
