Innovation Watch: TweetsGiving with Epic Change

by Nathaniel Whittemore · 2008-11-27 07:37:00 UTC

Epic Change has an incredibly creative and wonderful campaign today they're calling "TweetsGiving." Basically the idea is to have people share something they're thankful for with all of the people that "follow" them on Twitter, and then include a link to Epic Change's TweetsGiving page where they can make a donation to build a school in Tanzania. The donation can be made in honor of anyone you care about, and their goal (which they've already almost achieved) is to raise $10,000 to build a full school.

I'll do more dissection of what other social entrepreneurs can learn from the campaign, but for now, if you're on Twitter, follow @TweetsGiving and join in the campaign.
