International Labor Rights Forum Celebration
I love celebrations. So when I opened up my e-mail inbox and saw 'celebration' in the subject line, I was quick to open it up. The International Labor Rights Forum, who I have written about in the past for their work in solidarity with the Fair Trade movement, is celebrating 25 years in success. Well well. A certain someone (cough) just celebrated 25 years of well, being, this month (cough cough). 1984 was a big year.
The ILRF event takes place this March and is going to honor the hard work that the organization has done over the years and those that helped them along the way.
The International Labor Rights Forum cordially invites you to

If I haven't mentioned this already, or if you don't know, the ILRF is an amazing organization fighting for worker rights worldwide. They have done work exposing child labor in the cocoa and soccer industry, have done work to promote a sweat-free world, extensive work for women's rights and speaking on behalf of trade unions. All in 25 years. To get more familiar with their work, you should check out their blog where they recently put up an article about MLK and Worker Rights. Since I've been so big on the videos lately, I wanted to share this clip with you. And if you find yourself in Washington, DC in March consider checking out this celebration.
