Introducing (drumroll)... Mark Horvath!

by Shannon Moriarty · 2008-11-20 19:16:00 UTC

Ladies and gentlemen of the World Wide Web, I am very excited to introduce change.org's newest contributing editor, Mark Horvath!

Fifteen years ago, Mark was homeless on the streets of Hollywood. Today, he is dedicated to capturing the raw, unedited stories of homeless people in LA on his vlog, Invisible People. His work is extremely innovative and has created a lot of buzz since he launched a few weeks ago. Most importantly, though, he's a genuinely great guy with a real desire to change the world.

Each Friday, Mark will be sharing the story of a homeless person he meets on the streets. We hope that these raw, unedited videos will help you look beyond the invisible people you see on the streets.

Welcome, Mark! It's great to have you on board!

Shannon Moriarty has worked in various homeless shelters and service organizations around the country. She is a graduate student studying housing and urban policy at Tufts University.
