Progressive female leader and Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner, is running for the United States Senate. If she won, she would be the first female senator from that state, improve the margins of female elected officials in the legislature and serve as a great advocate for women's rights. While I will be watching this race closely, I would also make sure to follow Jill Miller Zimon's blog as the the election unfolds. She has some great up-to-date information and analysis about politics from Ohio.
