I learned about the launch of Living Opposed to Violence and Exploitation--or L.O.V.E.--via The Vegan Ideal yesterday. And it looks like a fantastic, exciting project. I was planning to go into more detail about the new group and its philosophies and goals, but Mark Hawthorne of Striking at the Roots beat me to the announcement, so I'll send you over to his post on this instead, which includes an interview with the founder of this new anti-oppression collective: "How About a Little L.O.V.E.?"

In other launch news, the Coalition to Abolish the Animal Enterprise Terrorist Act campaign has announced the official launch of its campaign. See the press release here. The launch comes with a great new Web site too, full of helpful resources, including a "10 Things You Can Do to Abolish the AETA" list. There's one other action you can take too; go vote for Rescind the AETA on the Ideas for Change project!
