Luis Ramirez's Killers Acquitted in Pennsylvania

I think that had the killers been found guilty, the punishment would likely have been disproportionate--that's a general feature of the U.S. criminal justice system.  Locking up 18-year-olds for 30 years or more is not a good use of taxpayer money.

But I'm confident that had one of those boys been killed by a kick to the head from Luis Ramirez, Ramirez would have been found guilty of more than simple assault.
