Meet a Teen Mom Turning Her Life Around

by Mark Horvath · 2010-08-10 07:36:00 UTC

This new video comes from Mark's InvisiblePeople.tv 30-city, 11,000-mile, 75-day road trip, going on now.

Raquel has been homeless since 17. She's now 19, and this is her first week trying to get her life back together by living in a youth homeless shelter in Denver, Colorado.

Raquel made some bad choices.

She said she lived on the streets because her relationship with her mother was not so good, but things are getting better. Her mother is now caring for her infant son until she is able to care for him herself.

Special thanks to Urban Peak
