More Aid Agency Layoffs

That bell, it's still tolling.  Apparently, CARE USA just announced that they are eliminating 15% of domestic staff positions.

If anyone has information about what's happening at other NGOs, would love to know.

Finally, the Peacebuilding and Development Institute has pulled together an excellent and fairly comprehensive series of reports and articles about the effect of the global financial crisis on developing countries, as well as its impact on humanitarian and development work.  For the resource page, see here.
