Obama: Good for green investors?

A guest post on TriplePundit by the founder of Green Chip Stocks highlights some of the Obama-related excitement on the part of investors in clean and green technology. His thesis is that investors have reason to be cautiously optimistic, due not only to the likelihood that the Obama Administration will set significant targets for renewable energy increases but also from the simple fact that world wide economic and environmental pressure is going to force us to convert to more renewable energy.
Green technology is one of the most important fields of social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurs like the folks at MicroEnergy Credits and D. Light Design are finding innovative ways to connect environmental goals with anti-poverty efforts. I hope to feature an increasing number of interviews with and profiles of green technology entrepreneurs in the coming months. Stay tuned!
