Resources: "Getting Started as an Entrepreneur"
The National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance has posted what looks to be an awesome resource for tech entrepreneurs at Wikibooks. Called "Getting Started as an Entrepreneur" the resource is designed to walk first timers through some of the basics: building a team, identifying a market, getting funding, etc. I'll be digging in deeper in the next couple days, but I'm always thrilled to run across real practical resources that help people do real things.
I first heard of NCIIA at the Social Capital Markets conference earlier this fall. During the un-conference event, the manager of NCIIA's Venture Well project, Joseph Steig, talked about his work providing grants and seed capital for student startups. To read more, check out Venture Well, Steig's personal site, or follow him on Twitter.
