Stuff to make your life easier: press releases!

For many social entrepreneurs, scaling a project means helping bring mainstream traction to their animating idea and their story. It can be hard, however, when you're immersed in the nitty gritty to come up for air to create a coherent media strategy. And while having a social media strategy (sit down and read Beth's Blog for hours) is essential for the 21st century, understanding how to tap into traditional and mainstream media outlets.

Give and Take picked up yesterday on the Knight Foundation's online workshop for developing a media and communications strategy, including sample press releases. This is an awesome resource, and worth a good read and a bookmark.
