Stop Coke's Sponsorship of Animal Abuse at Rodeos
The following is an alert from Showing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK):
---
Dear Friends,
We have a very important update today and we need your help. Coca-Cola sponsors animal abuse and they are feeling the pressure from animal advocates, and we need to keep contacting them! The animals need you to make your voice heard at Coca-Cola...TODAY!
As many of you know, Coca-Cola is a huge rodeo sponsor in spite of their corporate policy against supporting events where there is a risk of animals being injured. The underhanded way that Coke gets around their own policy is to blame their sponsorship of countless animals being injured and killed on their very own bottlers! It takes a thinking person about two seconds to realize that this excuse is utter nonsense and Coca-Cola could easily ask their bottlers to obey Coca-Cola's policy of not sponsoring animal abuse.
Coca-Cola denies sponsoring rodeo, but this photo from the 2007 CFD Rodeo tells the truth.

Contacting Coke is very important for a few reasons. When Coca-Cola stops allowing its bottlers to support animal abuse, this will have a ripple effect on many other forms of animal abuse that Coke allows its "bottlers" to support. Things like the cruel Iditarod sled race, greyhound racing, and even bull fighting. A victory for animals in rodeo will have a huge effect on countless other animals.
See our video about Coca-Cola here.

Coca-Cola is definitely feeling the pressure from all of your previous calls and letters. They even have a dedicated page explaining that they don't sponsor rodeo, but they then go into a long explanation trying to defend the cruelty of rodeo...a very odd thing to do when they claim to not support rodeo. Check it out for yourself here.
Look at the proof! Check out this page and decide for yourself if Coke is sponsoring rodeo or if it really is some nameless mystery bottler, click here.
