Sudan Calls Obama's Climate Change Deal "Genocide"

Comparing one's situation to the Holocaust seems to be the political tool du jour. Sometimes, it can be accurate, though more often than not it's just plain annoying, and then sometimes it can be quite ironic.

A Sudanese representative at the Copenhagen climate change summit commented that President Obama's plan to fight global warming amounts to an "incineration pact," and is "a solution based on values, the very same values in our opinion that funneled six million people in Europe into furnaces." Lumumba Stanislas Dia-ping, who also chairs the Group of 77, is apparently "known for strong statements."

Coming from a government with a sitting head of state under indictment for war crimes and crimes against humanity, maybe the diplomat just has a monopoly on all things "devoid of any sense of responsibility or morality." Takes one to know one?
