First it was working on community development in Mexico. That led to starting a microfinance institution. After a few years, Steve Hardgrave realized he was actually, sort of, believe it or not, a banker. With that realization came a desire to learn a bit more about finance, accounting, and business and a trip to business school. Since then Steve Hardgrave has been a Sr. Managing Director at Gray Ghost Ventures to pump resources into the social capital market and help it mature to thing bigger than ever before.

Nathaniel Whittemore is the founder of Assetmap. Previously he was the founding director of the Northwestern University Center for Global Engagement.
