Taking Nominations for the Top Moments of the Decade in Social Entrepreneurship
Over the course of the next week, I'll be posting my predictions of the top trends that will shape social entrepreneurship in 2009. The week after, I will release a list of the top moments of the previous decade 2000-2009 in social entrepreneurship. I've got a pretty good idea of what my list is going to look like, but I'm interested in getting more recommendations.
For those of you willing to help, I'd love if you used the comments on this post to leave your best suggestions. I can't guarantee that everything will make it into my list, but I'll certainly take the time to look at everything people post.
As a helpful guidepost, here are some ways to think about "moments"
- The publishing of important books
- The launch of important companies
- Key conferences or dialogues
- Events outside of our field itself that had a major impact on the way we take action
And so on and so forth. If the comments are wildly divergent from the list I end up putting together, in addition to reconsidering my blogging role, I'll definitely write up a post with all of your best ideas.
Thanks and looking forward to seeing what you suggest!
