The Acumen Fund and The Decision Students Face

A couple months ago, the Acumen Fund hosted it's first ever student seminar in order to help prepare a generation of people who can better support and develop markets that tackle intractable poverty.

One of the guest speakers was brand and marketing guru (not to mention blogger extraordinaire) Seth Godin, who's speech is captured in this great video:

Perhaps the most interesting point he makes is that the Acumen Fund's job with these students is to produce competition that can breed ecosystems that, in the end, provide the capital that is truly needed to support entrepreneurs.
