Why Foundation Ownership Might Be Bad for Newspapers: I personally have been really interested in whether news media makes more sense as a nonprofit and this is a fascinating suggestion that foundations might actually be bad at managing newspapers.

Everywun's 10,000 Tree Challenge: Everywun tries an interesting approach to new user acquisition - planting trees in honor of Earth Day. This sort of stuff is pushing marketing and advertising in different directions.
