Another great day for social innovation writing, with everything from mind-busting theory to top online resource lists.
- The Responsiveness Imperative: Another killer post from Havas Media Lab's Umair Haque about how in today's "zombieconomy" institutions are dead in the water and trapped in their old non-responsive traditions. Umair thinks companies should be asking questions like "Are we redefining the economics of ownership?"
- Here Comes Some Real Education Form: Social Velocity has quickly become one of my favorite blogs. Nell Edgington writes another really interesting post about how new Secretary of Education Arne Duncan's work with the Chicago Public Education Fund - a venture philanthropy fund for new education ideas - could become a national perogative. - Acumen Fund Is Hiring: A Business Development Manager - Marketing. Basically the Acumen Fund (including blogger extraordinaire Sasha Dichter) are looking for someone to spread Acumen's message with love and fervor. Think you qualify? Check it out.
- 10 Online Resources for Social Entrepreneurs: Dan Martin puts together a great list of resources for social entrepreneurs. While many will know some of these, others - like the Third Sector Forums - are a great find.
