Small, Unproven Charities: There's some stuff here I don't agree with (i.e. the implicit assumption that charity dollars are a zero sum game so that if you didn't invest in a small, unproven charity it would be automatically transferable to other, more proven work), but as always, the GiveWell folks are a provacative, smart, and essential voice.
