The Feast Kitchen Announces Startup Finalists

by Nathaniel Whittemore · 2009-09-09 15:52:00 UTC

Held in conjunction with social innovation festival The Feast, the Feast Kitchen is a chance for some of the hottest young social innovators to pitch their big ideas to venture capitalists and other supporters. After an extensive application process, All Day Buffet has announced some of the finalists, including:

Srina: A company importing organic hand-plucked tea from Sri Lanka;

International Transparency Solutions: A consultancy making it easier to do business in East Africa;

The Kitchen is the action component of the event the day before, which will feature great speakers like Philanthrocapitalism author Matthew Bishop, as well as leaders from companies like charity:water and Virgance.

I'll be speaking at the Kitchen, and I'll be talking about the Millennial generation's natively startup mindset, characterized by collaboration, action, social value, and a desire to change the world.

There are still some tickets available. Register here.
