The "Good Time Bill" and Imprisoned Activists

Legislation that could be helpful for activists who end up in prison isn't something we hear much about, so I read Will Potter's post on the "Good Time Bill" this morning with much interest. This legislation would, Will reports, "reduce the sentences of people in federal prisons by increasing the 'good time' credit they can receive. The bill would impact all federal prisoners (except those serving life sentences), but Green Scare prisoners would be some of the ideal candidate."

Read more about why this would be beneficial for imprisoned activists and why "every taxpayer should support the Good Time Bill" in Will's post at GreenIsTheNewRed.com. And see the Good Time Bill site for more on the bill.
