This is kind of hard to explain, or navigate, but I'm intrigued. FAST is a project that explores the intersection of planning, architecture and human rights. it turns out that we can look at the decision making of urban planners, water and sewage engineers and other professionals and see how it impacts different communities. In Israel, we have 60 years of history to look at, a history that includes a great many decisions to privilege one community over another, despite the fact that Israel is a formal democracy that enshrines equality in its Decleration of Independence.

The project described here is one of a few addressing Israel, but there are others looking at Tbilisi, Holland and other places. If you are interested in urban planning, this link is for you.
