Voters Support Repeal of Prop 8

It's by the thinnest of margins, but a new poll out this morning by The Field Poll shows that most Californian voters support repealing Proposition 8. The margin is close: 48 percent favor a repeal, while 47 percent favor keeping the Proposition in place. (Five percent were undecided.)
Hey, if the slimmest of margins can pass Prop 8, shouldn't the slimmest of margins also be allowed to repeal it?
The poll found that those most strongly opposed to repealing Prop 8 were people over the age of 65, or people that did not know any LGBT people, while the "youngins" were least likely to support Prop 8. Which confirms to us that whether the California Supreme Court upholds Prop 8 or not, marriage equality is on the right side of history. The poll itself was conducted between February 20-March 1, in the days immediately before the Court heard arguments over the validity of Prop 8. The Court is now tasked with issuing a decision before June 3, 2009.
