Want to Blog for Change.org?
Change.org is expanding their blogging team! This means you can join the prestigious ranks of Change.org bloggers who are changing the world, one post at a time.
Each new blogger will contribute to a daily blog covering news and offering commentary on a single social, political or environmental issue, convene leading nonprofits and activists working on the issue, and help people translate their passion into concrete action. Previous blogging experience is encouraged but not necessary; strong writing skills are required. If you have mad writing skillz, however, that's even better.
I many not be the most unbiased source, but writing for Change.org is a pretty great gig. It's been an opportunity to direct specific action to fight human trafficking in the U.S. and around the world and bring higher levels of awareness of this issue to broader audiences. Human trafficking is a very specific topic, but is deeply related to a number of other issues. So if you have a passion for ending human trafficking -- or related issues like sweatshops, fair trade, sexual violence, etc. -- I hope you will join me in this endeavor. In order to truly end slavery in the world, we need passionate and talented people leading the movement. We need you.
You can apply here. Or, if you're not looking for a full-time gig but have ideas for topics, you can always contact me at akloer at change.org.
