Where Don't You Want Your Tax Dollars Going?

"We need to talk about the Hyde Amendment," says Jay Smooth, of the hip-hop video blog ill Doctrine. "Why does this one crowd get to pick and choose on this one thing (that's totally unjust) while all the rest of us never get to pick and choose?"

To point out the hypocrisy of the Hyde Amendment -- which is now being used to justify keeping abortion coverage out of health care reform -- Smooth and the Center for Reproductive Rights want to know what you wouldn't want your tax money spent on.

Watch the video below to see Jay Smooth and some cool pro-choice bloggers and advocates breaking down where they'd rather not have their tax dollars headed, if we're going the "everybody gets to pick and choose" route (rather than the "as an American citizen you have to accept that some of your taxes will go to things you don't support" route). Then, you can break out the webcam and send your own video statement!
