Your Chance to Question A High-Ranking UN Official

by Michael Bear · 2009-08-27 07:30:00 UTC

Have you ever wanted to question - perhaps interrogate - a high-ranking UN official?  Have you ever wondered what exactly it takes to vaccinate millions of children?  Would you like to know why UNICEF doesn't tend to play well with other agencies in the sandbox?

Here's your chance.

Reuters AlertNet is asking readers to send in questions for Ann Venneman, the Executive Director of UNICEF.  Venneman is currently in Congo, meeting with survivors of sexual assualt as well as children abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army.  On her way back she'll be passing through London, where she's agreed to sit for an interview with AlertNet.

You can submit quetions by going to this page, or by using the #askunicef tag on twitter.  Please send questions by September 1st.
